THE FRAME Conference (formerly the WDMA Technical and Manufacturing Conference) this year reflects a broader shift underway in the window, door, and skylight manufacturing industry. The forces shaping the business—policy, performance expectations, and operational complexity—are no longer isolated. They are converging. And the programming has been designed to meet that moment.
The agenda brings together a mix of perspectives that span leadership, technical expertise, and real-world application. Sessions focused on regulatory developments—such as evolving state and federal policy and energy code requirements—anchor the program in the realities companies are actively navigating. These are not distant issues; they are already influencing product design, material selection, and compliance strategies.
All times are reflected in Central Standard Time. Please note that this schedule is tentative

VIBE120 is a fast-paced networking experience designed to help conference attendees make meaningful industry connections in a fun, structured format. During this interactive session, participants will sit in two rows of chairs facing each other, creating pairs of attendees ready to connect. Each pair will have 120 seconds to introduce themselves, share their professional story, discuss their work, or reconnect with colleagues they may already know.
After each two-minute conversation, one row rotates—allowing participants to meet someone new. Over the course of the session, attendees will connect with approximately 30 fellow professionals in one hour, dramatically expanding their network in a short amount of time. The result is a high-energy, highly engaging networking session that helps attendees build relationships, exchange ideas, and strengthen their professional community.

Lions, Tigers and Field Tests...Oh My!
Scandinavian Ballroom 1&2
Chip Gentry, Quaker Windows
Through nearly 3 decades of litigation experience in the fenestration industry, field tests continue to plague us by focusing on ASTM E1105 (AAMA 501/502/503) which is and was intended to be used for quality control and performance tests within 6 months of installation. Yet the misused standard fails to account for ACTUAL weather and geographic realities for any particular project during a given time. ASTM E2128 (AAMA 511) is a holistic investigative standard allowing and requiring expert judgment yet relying on accurate facts and realities of what a project has experienced. ASTM E1105 should not be admissible into evidence under the appropriate judicial standard and this presentation sets the foundation for a sea change event in our industry to help stop abusive and inappropriate testing standards being used as a witch hunt.
